General Bachelor's Admission Criteria
Mount Kigali University (MKU Rwanda) admits candidates holding an accredited secondary certificate or certified foreign equivalent adhering to national HEC standards:
- Minimum 2 principal passes in relevant secondary school subjects (prior to 2024 reform), or at least 50% overall aggregate points in RNEC-S6 (from 2024 onwards).
- Recognized TVET Level 5 certificate or relevant accredited diploma holders are eligible for direct entry or credit transfer.
- Demonstrated English language proficiency across all faculties and degree programs.
- Certified copy of Advanced Level Secondary School Certificate (Senior 6) and official S4, S5, S6 transcripts.
- Valid National Identity Card (Rwandan nationals) or valid international passport (international applicants).
